Choosing Your Wedding Hairstyle – What You Should Remember

Choosing Your Wedding Hairstyle – What You Should Remember

As a bride you definitely want to look your best and all eyes will be on you all through the day. To look gorgeous from head to toe is a must and your hair is one of those things you should take seriously besides choosing a great looking gown. There are long lists of best bridal hairstyles and remembering a few things can help you make the right decision with your wedding hairstyles.

Match the hair with the gown

This is one of the most important things if you do not want to end up looking as though your hair is competing with the gown. Striking a match between the two is what you should focus on. If you have a modern chi dress, select a sleek blow out or hold your hair back. For a gown that has a country look or peasant dresses and high waist frocks choose curls for your hair and you can add tiny flowers to complete the curly look. Dramatic up dos on the other hand can turn out great for big ball gown type of dresses. Whatever you choose should match with the type of dress you have selected. The tip here is to choose your dress first before then finding the perfect hairstyle.

The length of your hair matters

This is something most brides forget even though it is very important. Some styles are best for long hair while others are more suitable for short hair. Wedding hairstyles for short hair are more popular, but you can also rock your wedding with amazing wedding hairstyles for long hair. For short locks, a mini barrette and a pixie make very good chic and simple wedding looks but the choices are numerous. For longer locks, buns, barrettes and petals are some amazing ideas. Your hairdresser can come in handy in giving you choices depending on the length of your hair. Fashion magazines can also be helpful sources for any length of hair.

Remember the veil

Apart from making sure that your wedding hairstyle matches with the dress, also remember the veil and how suitable the hairstyle is going to be for your veil. If you have chosen a style whose charm is lost under the veil, you can consider wearing fascinators which are back and trending. There are also fancy short bridal hats that can be worn but make sure that you choose the veil before you go for the hairstyle to keep limits at bay.

Understand your hair type

This is very important because even the simplest hairstyles look great on particular hair types. Very short hair or hair that is very fine can be tricky to work with but there are styles that best suit this kind of hair. Same goes for curly hair, which can be tricky to straighten and make skinny. Know which hairstyles your hair will hold without problems. You should actually consider booking a trial with your hairdresser to help make a great choice beforehand.

There are lots of easy wedding hairstyles and a good hairdresser should be able to help you make a good decision. Not all wedding hairstyles will look great on you so try several before settling for the best.

Fashion Tumblrs

Are you in need of some fashion inspiration? With the change in seasons comes a change in wardrobe, and if you’re wondering how to style yourself this fall, Tumblr may just be the place to look. Whether you would like to become a fashion blogger yourself; and share your passion for style with others, or just soak up the millions of trend worthy photographs being reblogged over and over, Tumblr is an easy and addictive way to get your fashion fix.

New fashion Tumblr blogs pop up daily, and many designers and boutiques, including Kate Spade and Elle Magazine, use Tumblr as a platform to reach their fans on a personal level, sharing behind the scene photos and inspirations in a casual blog. Lady Gaga even joined in on the fun, creating her own Tumblr to show off some of her favorite costumes, has thousands of avid followers. Even if that sort of thing is not your style, once you login to Tumblr you literally have millions of pictures at your fingertips, and who says you have to be inspired by fashion only? You will find a spectrum of categories where people like you (and people not like you!) share pictures of food, flowers, buildings, cartoons … Anything you can think of! Tumblr allows you to be a part of a world of inspiration you may have never known existed. You will find new obsessions and muses, as well as inspire others all over the world.

Once you create a Tumblr blog, you can host your own photos publicly or privately, as well as search and browse through thousands of other blogs or posts so fast you will have to “like” everything you see so you can remember it. Anything you “like” will be put in a link for you to return to, kind of like a whole other blog in itself! Otherwise, you can reblog people’s photos, and share links directly from many websites or mobile devices! Tumblr has a strongly linked system of tags, or descriptive phrases or words, which help you find the images, videos, audio and text you are looking for. When you tag your own photos it helps you keep track of them for reference, as well as helping other people find them, and your blog! You can even ask questions to your followers, and receive messages and even reader submissions! Tumblr’s fashion world is always growing, become a part of it!

Hindi Film Fashion Movie Review

Hindi Film Fashion Movie Review

With Fashion the director Madhur Bhandarkar churns up yet another close to reality film covering the intrinsic and the extrisic facades that rule the fashion industry. Madhur has handled the subject with subtle elegance and there is no doubt why he spins hard hitting films which leave you in a state of awe and hit you below the belt.

Fashion starts of with a small town girl Meghna Mathur (Priyanka Chopra) who aspires to be a supermodel much against the wishes of her parents (Raj Babbar & Kiran Juneja). She has her cup of struggle before walking the ramp and manages to reach the pinnacle of succcess. Success begets arrogance and inturn leads to her downfall. But she is not ready to accept such fate. The structuring of the screenplay and writing by Madhur Bhandarkar, Anuradha Tiwari and Ajay Monga simultaneosly runs the story of three models Meghna (Priyanka Chopra), Shonali (Kangana Ranaut) and Janet ( Mughda Godse). Depicting Meghna’s rise, Shonali’s downfall and Janet’s compromise. At the same moment its throws light on the stark realities which prevail the fashion industry – casting couch, gay designers, wild lifestyles of models, wardrobe malfunctions, the manipulations of head honchos and the attitude issues.

Niranjan Iyengars dialogues are great. Mahesh Limayes cinematography captures the essence of fashion world. The screenplay is near to perfect, except for getting a bit drab at the ending.

Priyanka exudes a terrific performance and could well be one of her best. Kangana Ranaut is a surprise package, except for her short role. Mughda Godse has been greatly confident. Arbaaz Khan is a cool restrained act.Samir Soni has been good.Suchitra Pillai and Kitu Gidwani add the sprinklers with their presence. Ashwin Mushran and Arjan Bajwa have done pretty well.

Fashion is definitely worth its salt, with Madhur Bhandarkars styling you are sure what you are getting into.
